The Motocross World Championship was also held in Hyvinkää Speed Park during the past summer, when the organisation of the event received excellent feedback. The Hyvinkää track is located at the end of a well-functioning transport network, and there is a great framework for organising an international motocross competition. Erkki Heikkinen, Chairman of the Finnish Motor Federation, is pleased to have the king class of motocross in Finland again in the coming season. “The race was excellent during the summer of 2022. After several years of break, we were able to enjoy the world’s best competitors and teams in the form of an impressive World Championship competition. For the coming summer, expectations are high. “I believe that, in cooperation with KOKO Lahti Oy, we will provide the viewers another spectacular event,” says Heikkinen, leader of the MXGP section contest last summer.

The 2023 MXGP series will start in March in Argentina with Patagonia GP and end on 22. October for a race in Ernee, France. The series consists of a total of 21 competitions, of which the Finnish sectional is the 14th in order. Motocross’s international World Cup competition and marketing rights are owned by Infront Moto Racing.
